This session will create the most beautiful and cherished memories for your family. Just imagine, years from now, looking back at those photographs—you’ll remember how tiny your baby was, the joyful moments you spent at home with your new little one, and even the delicate texture of their newborn skin will come to mind. Photos are truly powerful. While they hold great value at the moment they're taken, as time passes, their worth only grows.
The Newborn session lasts approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on the package and the baby’s behavior, which, as you can imagine, is unpredictable. It takes place in my home studio located in Morgan Hill. During the session, your baby will feel as if they are back in your womb—comfortable, warm, and cozy. Believe me, watching your baby pose for photos is an unforgettable experience in itself.
The ideal time for a newborn session is between 8 and 15 days after birth. It’s best not to wait much longer because the smaller they are, the more flexible and sleepy they’ll be, allowing for a greater variety of poses. This makes the photos even more tender and highlights how tiny your baby was—especially since they change so quickly. I assure you, investing in these photos is worth it. It’s a special way to welcome the newest member of your family, and later, it will be a beautiful way to relive this moment, which, as time goes by, will only become more valuable.

FAQ'S
HOW DOES BOOKING A NEWBORN SESSION WORK IF WE DON’T KNOW WHEN OUR BABY WILL BE BORN?
We make a pre-booking based on your estimated due date. Since babies’ arrival dates can be unpredictable, your newborn session will be officially scheduled as soon as your baby is born. I accept a limited number of future moms within the same time frame to avoid overbooking.
To secure your spot on my calendar, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO TAKE OUR NEWBORN PHOTOS?
I recommend scheduling newborn sessions between 2 and 3 weeks of life, with the ideal time being between days 8 and 12. That said, there is no wrong time to photograph your baby! If your baby is a little older, don’t worry—we will still capture beautiful photos of your little one at any age. However, the younger they are, the better the photographs will be.
What are the photo delivery times?
- The first week after the session, you’ll receive an online proof gallery to select your favorite photos.
- 2 to 3 weeks after you make your selection, the retouched digital photos will be delivered.
What are the payment methods?
50% is required to reserve your date, and the remaining 50% can be paid either the day before or on the day of the session.
Is there an extra charge for distance?
There is no charge for locations within 20 miles of Morgan Hill (95037). For other areas, please contact us.
Is there any kind of guidance for the photos?
Yes. A digital guide is sent prior to the virtual meeting (if included in your package) with tips and recommendations on:
- Personal preparation
- Choosing the right time and location
- Atmosphere and accessories
How many people can attend the sessions?
Some sessions allow up to 4 people.
There is an additional charge of $30 per extra person. (The number of photos included in the package remains the same).
Are copyrights granted for the images?
The studio always retains the copyrights and original images; however, clients are granted the right to personal reproduction.
